In 1911, The Ladies Home Journal launched a very successful magazine campaign that was targeted toward little girls, created by Sheila Young and centered around her character Lettie Lane and her doll Daisy. For 3 subscriptions and $4.50 a little girl could order her very own Daisy doll,
"The Doll that Has Come to Life".

No. 067-Daisy
Inspired by 1911 Ladies Home Jounal Party Clothes for Daisy. This cloche hat was entitled "Just Too Sweet" in the description from LHJ 1911, with a wide band and bow around the crown and framed around the face with an eyelet lace ruffle. Pictured here, this bell-shaped cloche hat has a deep, bell-shaped crown and a narrow turned-down brim. The crown may be trimmed with satin ribbon tied in a bow in the back.
Fits Daisy with a head circumference of approximately 10-11 inches.

No. 025 A-Daisy
The front and sides of this classic straw hat are tipped up and the back is tipped down. It may be decorated with a ribbon around the crown, ending in tails. A contrasting bow may be placed over the tails. This style was featured in the third series from the 1911 Ladies Home Journal magazine and would have been what Daisy wore when she took a vacation.
For dolls with a head circumference of 10-11 inches.
Requires approximately 20 yards of 1/4 inch hat braid sold separately or as part of a Kit.

This Hat was designed with Daisy in mind and inspired by Lettie Lane's paper dolls. It has a wide scalloped front brim that frames your doll's face and tapers into a rounded crown. Decorated with lace and velvet ribbons.
Fits Daisy, Head circumference is approximately 10-11 inches.
Requires approximately 20 yards of 1/4 inch hat braid sold separately or as part of a kit.
